New Clients
Welcome! If you’re considering starting therapy, the best place to begin is with a complimentary 15-minute consultation. This gives us a chance to connect, talk briefly about what you’re looking for support with, and see whether working together feels like the right fit. You can book a consultation directly through the link here.
Existing Clients
If we’re already working together, you can book your next session anytime through the online booking portal. You’ll be able to see my most up-to-date availability and choose a time that works best for you. If you can’t find a time that works, feel free to reach out and I’ll do my best to help.
Payment can be made via credit card or e-transfer, and is due at the time of each session. It can be made securely through the client portal. After your appointment, you’ll receive a detailed receipt with my Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) information, which you can use to submit to your extended health benefits provider if you have coverage.
I understand that life happens, kids get sick, schedules change, and unexpected things come up. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice whenever possible. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments, are charged the full session fee.
I believe therapy should be as accessible as possible while also allowing me to provide sustainable, high-quality care. I keep a limited number of reduced-fee spaces available for clients experiencing financial barriers. Availability is limited and may change, so you’re welcome to reach out and ask whether a reduced-fee space is currently available.
Many extended health benefit plans provide coverage for sessions with a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), although coverage varies depending on the plan selected by your employer or insurance provider. Plans through providers such as Pacific Blue Cross, Sun Life, Canada Life, Manulife and GreenShield may include RCC services, but I always recommend confirming your individual coverage before beginning therapy.
You can check your benefits booklet, online insurance portal, or contact your HR department or insurance provider directly. When checking your coverage, ask specifically whether Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) services are included, as plans may distinguish between counsellors, psychotherapists, psychologists and other mental health professionals.
It can also be helpful to ask about your annual maximum for counselling services, whether you have a deductible, and what percentage or dollar amount is reimbursed per session. After each appointment, you’ll receive a receipt with the information needed to submit your claim directly to your insurance provider.
For in-person counselling sessions, I work at Providence Therapy, a beautiful clinic located in the heart of Kitsilano. The address is unit 210, 1669 West 3rd ave., Vancouver BC.
